RECENT PROJECTS
For the past year I have been working as an assistant editor on "Ren Faire," Lance Oppenheimer's upcoming three-part series from Elara Pictures and HBO. The first episode premieres at South by Southwest on March 9th. I can't wait for everyone to see this spectacular docu-fantasia. I had an amazing time working on it and I know that the audience is going to have an amazing time watching it.
ABOUT ME
My name is Angaelica LaPasta, though most people call me Gaela, and I am a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and artist with a passion for art and documentary storytelling. My video work has garnered views in the millions and MoMA Photo Club, one of my recent projects was awarded a Webby for Best Content Series: Social. I'm currently freelancing as a video editor for clients including HBO, Elara Pictures, and David Zwirner Gallery. I have a passion for storytelling, documentary, history and the many art practices that can be used to share information and inspire people.
